Vic: Supermodel Sarah O'Hare down to bare essentials in new ad

MELBOURNE, Aug 7 AAP - Aussie supermodel Sarah O'Hare today launched a new range of
Bonds bras which she helped design.

Ms O'Hare, wife of media executive Lachlan Murdoch, said the range was the first in
a cycle of new Bonds products.

"It's very exciting. We've been working on this for about a year now," she said.

"We are launching the bra this week. In September we're launching the T-Shirt - so
this is the beginning of the cycle of launching all of our new products."

Bonds singlets, long considered an Aussie icon, have logged up over 400 million sales
since their trademark was registered in 1920 by an American who had set up company headquarters
in Sydney in 1915.

"I think that's what everybody recognises in Bonds - it is really comfortable, it's
cotton, it's Australian, easy to wear and reliable ... and people can afford it," Ms O'Hare
said.

She was glad to be home from her globe-trotting travels, particularly as Mr Murdoch
was also in Sydney.

"We work out everything so that we're together all the time," she said.

"I love being in Australia - Australians are the best.

"There is something about Australians that is so down to earth and real - you just
don't find that anywhere else."

The star, who has just completed a film, Head Over Heels, with US heart-throb Freddie
Prinze Jnr, and made a guest appearance on the US smash hit sitcom Friends, said a new
project was in the pipeline.

"I wish I could announce it this trip - I've been waiting for the right project and
there's something that's come up, so I'm waiting for it to be finalised now," she said.
